📄 FAQ – Marent Control & Rental Policy

Marent will install a control system on the device.

This system ensures payments are made on time.

  • If a payment is missed, the device will be automatically locked after 24 hours
  • The device will remain locked until payment is completed
  • You will need to contact support to unlock the device after payment
  • Fill in the application form
  • If you need help, contact our support team

For Malaysians:

  • MyKad (Front & Back)
  • Payslip / Salary Proof

For Non-Malaysians:

  • Passport
  • Payslip / Salary Proof
  • Minimum: 4 months
  • Maximum: 9 months
  • Malaysians: 40% deposit
  • Non-Malaysians: 50% deposit
  • Minimum rental period: 2 months
  • If you stop after minimum period, your deposit will be refunded (with conditions)

Penalty for early termination:

  • Within 30 days → 12% penalty on deposit
  • Between 30–60 days → 10% penalty on deposit

You can choose:

1. Return the device

  • Deposit will be refunded

2. Keep the device permanently

  • Pay RM100 to remove the control system
  • Device becomes fully yours
