Still Closing Safari Tabs One by One? You Don’t Have To!

If you use Safari regularly, you probably have dozens of tabs open without even realizing it.

Shopping, searching for something, reading an article, checking a restaurant... before you know it, your Safari can be filled with tabs. 😅

But did you know you don’t have to close them one by one?

There’s a simple way to close all your Safari tabs at once.

📱 Step 1: Open Safari and Go to Tabs

Open Safari on your iPhone.

From the Safari Start Page, tap the Tabs button at the bottom right.

It’s the icon with two overlapping squares.

👆 Step 2: Press and Hold the Done Button

Once you are on the Tabs page, look for the Done button at the bottom right.

Instead of tapping it normally, press and hold the Done button.

💡 Tip:
Don't just tap it — press and hold.

✨ Step 3: Close All Tabs

After pressing and holding the Done button, Safari will show an option to close all your open tabs.

Tap “Close All Tabs” and all your open Safari tabs will be closed at once.

Accidentally Closed an Important Tab?

Don't worry. Safari also allows you to reopen recently closed tabs.

Go back to the Safari Tabs screen and press and hold the “+” button.

You can then find your recently closed tabs and reopen the page you need.
