You Should To Know Before Data Transfer
New Device
- Should be Latest iOS Version Or Higher Than Your Old Device
- Should be Erase All Content and Settings
Old Device
- Turn on Bluetooth
- Turn on Wi-Fi
If you Ready , Let Start With Data Transfer Now !!
1. (Set Up New iPhone) Leave both device nearby & turn on a screen, wait a few minuted the old device will showing notifications with ‘Set Up New iPhone’ , just press "Continue"
2. (Hold Your New iPhone Up to the Camera / Authentication) For Authentication both device there are 2 option available
- Using Scan : old device camera to scan the image showing on a new device
- Using Pin : old device will need 6 digit pin for authentic a 6 digit pin are ready on new device
3. (Set Up New iPhone - For Sign in APPLE ID / iCloud Account Only) If the old device have sign in APPLE ID / iCloud Account , Just press “Set Up for Me” , If didn’t sign in APPLE ID / iCloud Account it’s will auto skip this step
4. Here are some set up , you can setup directly or just skip for some setup
- (Data & Privacy) Just Press Continue
- (Face ID) can setup or setup later
- (Create an iPhone Passcode) can setup or setup later
5. (Transfer Data from iPhone) , please press “Continue”
6. (Apple ID Password - For Sign in APPLE ID / iCloud Account Only) Just input your APPLE ID Password and press “Sign In”
7. (Term and Conditions) , press “Agree”
8. (Make This Your New iPhone) , press “Continue”
9. (Location Services)
- Enable : if you need to use GPS
- Disable : if you didn’t use GPS
10. (Siri) can setup or setup later
11.(Emergency SOS) , press “Continue”
12. (Transferring Data to “Device Name”) The Data are Transferring & it’s will showing a estimating time
For estimating Time can refer following
- Below 50GB - 1-3 Hours
- Below 100GB - 2-4 Hours
- Below 200GB - 4-6 Hours
- 200GB Above - 5 Hours Above
Note : The estimating time only for reference
13. (Transfer Complete) once done the new device will showing Apple Logo & Loading with White Bar , no worries , it’s just running a Data Restore
14. Done All Set
Note : for apps will need to download , prefer connect to Wi-Fi to download
